Section 02

The man who built the machine

Viktor Sain was never meant to be one of Danger Zone's fighters.

He was one of the men who built it.

Born in Drakholt, Viktor gained a reputation as one of Velmora's most gifted technical minds long before the League opened its doors. His work in advanced security systems, automated defense technology and experimental combat hardware eventually brought him into the orbit of Director Graves.

Graves didn't need another soldier.

He needed someone who could turn his ideas into machines.

Viktor became his right-hand technician and played a major role in developing the technological backbone of Danger Zone — from arena control systems and tracking networks to drones, shock traps, experimental weapons and Heal Field technology.

The deeper Viktor became involved, the less he saw Danger Zone as Graves' creation.

He began seeing it as his machine.
