Biography

Raze Cross grew up inside the Danger Zone. Not near it, not around it — inside it. He was rewarded for every cruelty it asked of him, praised for the ones nobody asked for, and told the whole time that this was what strength looked like. By the time he was old enough to question it, the shape was already set.

He wears a scar across his left eye that his own family gave him. He has never once considered forgiving it. The League's cameras love the scar and put it on every poster, which he tolerates, because being looked at is the one part of this he has never had a problem with.

People assume he fights for his father. He does not. He is loyal to nobody, least of all the man who made him, and the list of names he wants to walk through is longer than anyone realises — his own surname sits on it somewhere. What is left is pressure. He does not out-think opponents. He arrives, and he keeps arriving, until there is nowhere in the arena left to stand.

Everyone gets buried. Family. Lovers. Traitors. All of them.
